I’m happy to report (to those keeping count) that I’ve been a good girl for the first 30 days of my challenge minus yesterday and only due to me having better plans that involved going to emergency because of severe pain. My health is not at its best lately. By the time I was back home after 2 not 1 pain killer injections in my butt, I was in no shape to care even if the whole world came to an end! Had to be back at the hospital again this morning but now I’m better.
I came across this quote, (a short version of it) that I particularly love… especially now that we are in December and we’ve got 30 days to go before 2015 comes to an end… and especially as I sit and plan my new year in advance after assessing my wins and losses of the current year, (which I do yearly for as long as I remember).
Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.
There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days.
Living a life that matters doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s not a matter of circumstance but of choice.
Choose to live a life that matters.

And this is my most favorite part of Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride. How she takes a deep breath and transforms into fluttering butterflies in the moonlight. Magical. That’s how I want to go when my time’s up.
