This time last month I woke up in a regal four poster bed in Ireland feeling on top of the world because of all the love I was giving and receiving and feeling all around me. Today I woke up in Lebanon, in the bed I was most probably conceived in. I’ve come to the city I was born in, my old man’s hometown, with the intention of planting some seeds. I run my workshop events here and showed people the door to a world powered by passion. I explain that our minds are like little gardens and what you plant in terms of thoughts, beliefs and ideas…will be what you reap. And just like any farmer knows…it all takes time, and not all will follow through.
And now I wait to see those 20% who will step up. There’s only so much I can do. A world powered by passion awaits us all and is not impossible. Be mindful of what you plant in that little garden. Be passionate in everything you do. Spread love. If you still don’t have any idea what to plant, I leave you with this quote…
Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.- Steve Jobs
Sending love to all the beautiful souls I met on this trip, and I’ll be keeping an eye on you! Tripoli…a la prochaine!!!
Randa El Zein If you have time check your inbox in Facebook you will find old messages you didn't reply on, I appreciate if you may give me your opinion in what I wrote back then.
This is life… it's job is to throw obstacles at us. Our job is to deal with it powered by passion. And remember it is not 'what' happens to you… it's all about 'how' you deal with it.
Use what you learned at the workshop as your compass… it will always point you towards the True North! 🙂 Keep it up.
In the letter I wrote I wasn't sure what path should I take, travel to work as an engineer or start my dream here as an entrepreneur. However I tried what I wrote I will, and here I'm doing what I dreamed to do but still facing a lot and a lot of obstacles.
I always think about the message I wrote and wonder when it will be the time that I will see it in my inbox and read it when I need it the most !? I'm really waiting for such moment.
Nowehere near it 😀 at times doing the complete opposite but not giving up anytime soon – it will happen inshallah
Najwa & Obeida … tag everyone else and let everyone post about their progress, plans, or challenges. I have your letters… let's see who's closer to their passions!
